About Pastor Corey Blais
Corey placed faith in Jesus Christ in 1994, was baptized by immersion in 1995, and surrendered to the gospel ministry in 1996. He was licensed to the gospel ministry in 2011 and subsequently ordained in 2013.
Corey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry Studies from The Baptist College of Florida, a Master of Arts in Communication from Grand Canyon University, and is finishing a Doctor of Education degree through Kansas State University. Additionally, he has two years of formal seminary training.
In 2007 Corey married the love of his life, Angela, and they were blessed with their son Joshua in 2008. A former correctional officer and deputy sheriff, Corey served in vocational ministry from 2011 to 2019 in the roles of youth pastor, associate pastor, and pastor. He has also led collegiate ministry, and now works full-time as a college professor, while serving as the pastor of Point of Faith Ministries.
Point of Faith Ministries and FaithPoints Podcast
In December 2022, the Lord led Corey toward a different direction in ministry. This direction included beginning Point of Faith Ministries and the FaithPoints podcast. Through Point of Faith Ministries, Pastor Corey is available to speak with churches and at various ministry events.
The purpose of the FaithPoints podcast is to share thoughts regarding the Christian faith. There are a wide range of topics discussed, and the focus is on how to apply Spirit-filled, Christ-centered principles of faith to our lives.
